Hubs and Heidi had a blast gutting the pumpkin and putting the seeds into a large bowl for baking later.Wayland wanted to help but he ended up trying to eat the guts too soon.I gave him a little pumpkin to keep him entertained....unfortunately he tried to eat that like an apple the moment I put it in his hands.

Wayland quickly learned that raw pumpkin wasn't his cup of tea and threw the little pumpkin which then became Ollie's new play toy.

After Ollie gave us all a good rounds of laughs tossing the pumpkin around Wayland became bored and starting toddling off towards the end of the driveway.Heidi always the protective older sister yelled at him to "get back over here before you get hit by a car!" Good looking out kiddo.

Here is the finished product,I'll have to get a shot of him in the dark tomorrow night when we get in from trick or treating with the kiddies.

Heidi wanted to get a shot of me.I've always hated to be told to smile or say "cheese" so when she asked me to say "cheese" I teasingly asked if she wanted a knuckle sandwich.

Oh I also made my very first ever treasury on etsy! Its pumpkin pie inspired, check it out if you get a minute.
Pumpkin Treasury
Well, off to bed for me.Still need to get candy tomorrow and will probably end up spending most of the day trying to explain to an overzealous toddler that we can't trick or treat until the evening.
