Worst Internet Connection Everrrrrr oh and the Winner Is....

First off sorry for the delay in announcing the winner. The night I did this giveaway the next morning my connection went out and didn't come back until...oh well now!Grrrr.Since my husband is coming back here and we'll be staying here a bit longer than originally planned I need to look into an actual internet provider as stealing the neighbors is starting to become very frustrating.I thought I'd only be here a few months so it wasn't a big deal but its a pain in the butt!

Thank you to everyone that entered and the winner is Miss CherryBubbles!I will be contacting you here shortly. In other news as I mentioned in a few posts ago Alaska ended up not working out but I am happy to report our new plan:Washington!I've wanted to move there forever and now it looks like we are both in agreement that this could be a good thing for us.So the new plan is suck it up here together taking care of my dad,he'll hopefully find work here soon so between whatever he's able to find plus my Etsy income we'll be north bound by spring if not sooner!

As much as I've been saving my pennies I also can't pass up a good deal so I had to pounce when I came across this rocker on Ebay....I paid for it on the 14th of last month. It just TODAY finally showed up but despite needing a good scrub down due to dirt and smelling like cigarettes *cringe* it cleaned up nicely and Wayland was quite pleased with it.

  3. Well it's probably a good thing Alaska did not work out for you. This is not an easy place to live IF you have to work. The cost of living is 14.70% higher than the average lower 48 states. It would be a totally different climate for you and flying in and out is very expensive, it's way too far to drive, I know we fly out every year. So I hope things work in the Spring for you in WA. that is a wonderful place to live. My daughter wants to buy a condo up on one of those islands near Orcas Island. She lives in Kodiak and wants to live in the summer in WA where it's warmer and sunnier than Kodiak in the summer. Nan

  7. Wow! You were so lucky to find a vintage kid to go with your chair. It is so hard to find vintage children in original condition....usually they are all stretched out and discolored...:-)

  8. OMG! I'm so excited that your moving to Washington. That's where I live. It's such a great place. I also follow another bog and she's on etsy too- FabGab- and she is from Washington as well. You will have a great time here! You know it's pretty funny -- I've been following your blog ever since I bought a vintage pattern from you awhile back on etsy. It was first purchase on etsy, and your blog has been inspiring me ever since. Thank you!
