Ranch,Not Just a Condiment...

My favorite style of home is the Craftsman,Cape Cod,Victorian and last but not least Ranch Style!Being in Southern California you don't get a lot of REALLY old homes like you do in the Midwest and back East. That is one of the things I miss and am eager to see again when I move back.

A lot of the homes in my hometown are modern or 70's that have been added on to.Today when I took the kids for a walk the street a few blocks over had nothing but ranch style homes that I thought I'd share you you.I wanted to stay somewhat respectful of these peoples privacy so I didn't shoot the whole house but just bits of the homes on the street.Hope you enjoy!

  1. Ahhh...you're making me miss being in O'side! I love that style of homes. Once I get some more time, I'll post pics of the Craftsman home on my blog that we rented out here in Casper, Wyoming.

  3. I love the architectural details on those houses.

So, when's your big move back east? I'm making my big move next weekend! Packing is such a pain in the ass...I can't wait to finally be moved and can finally start unpacking things I haven't seen in a long time. I bet you feel the same way!

  6. Nice! I always loved Craftsman style. I love my house but I can't stand it's 1980's architecture. *Gag* I miss living in North Park/Hillcrest and having a place with pizazz.
