I had a lovely family day taking care of some business in Pasadena...and I totally blew it when it came to taking photos!I did get some comical ones of the kids playing in the park but as much as some of you do enjoy my kids posts I promise I do try not to bore the rest of you with yet ANOTHER photo of them at the park.Probably horrible of me to admit but I love my kids but eh other peoples I don't want to "oooooh" and "ahhhh" over every single amazing only to you thing that they do,in return I understand others may feel the exact same way. ;)
Oh but what made my day at the park(besides putting a smile on my kids face) was walking up to the slides and overhearing two little girls say about me "wow, she's beautiful!I love her dress,it must be her wedding dress!" to which the other replied "no,don't be stupid. She's a princess!"
I did remember to take photos of what I was wearing today, now you'll know why the little girls at the park thought I was a princess,ha ha!And I wasn't in a rush so they weren't all blurry like yesterdays failed outfit post.
During my snaps not only did I have the lovely company of my Ollie boy but this butterfly that fluttered from blossom to blossom.Blissfully unaware or uncaring that Ollie wanted to eat him...fortunately he stayed just out of reach.
Today I wore my hair in a fem-pomp.Its my second day trying it out.My hubby likes it but I'm not really sure if its me,I just know that if I had to sweep my bangs over to the side with bobby pins one more day I was going to lose my mind and destroy months of hard work by cutting my bangs and NO!I won't give up!
and I'm off to squeeze in one more episode of Kids in the Hall season 2 before much needed sleep,oh Netflix I love you.
oh how I miss Pasadena! One of my favourite places on earth *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHow sweet that those girls thought you were a princess!!
Yes!Definitely trying to stay positive and enjoy the California things while I'm here, even if I don't like being back ya know it still has its good points.
ReplyDeleteAnd TOTALLY made my day.Kids are cute and say super things sometimes, its fun to be young and so easily impressed with the world. =)

ReplyDeleteWell,it IS always what I wanted to be when I grew up...unfortunately my royal carriage to drive me around hasn't happened and I think I may need to get my license but ugh I really don't want to.
ReplyDeleteIts nice when you overhear thing like that! I remember the first time some kids called me a lady, i.e; "Mummy, look at what that lady is wearing", made me feel old! ha ha! Princess is far more flattering! Love the hair - don't cut it!
ReplyDeletethat is the cutest thing I've ever read. You DO look like a regal princess!
ReplyDeleteYou need a pink pony. ;-) You look lovely, my dear!
ReplyDeleteI love that those girls just assumed that you were casually wearing your wedding dress to the park!
