Button,Button,Who's Got the Button?

One of the many things I was given over the holidays as a basket of buttons.I thought I'd show off a few of my favorites.

This bunch has 6 black buttons with rhinestone centers.

3 large rose buttons..not sure what to do with 3 but hanging on to them should I ever come across a coat with 3 buttons I'd like to replace *shrugs* you never know.

This last group the spiraled ones are glass and the flower one is lucite

And this obviously is not a button but an old outlet I found in the garage.The casing on the back is bakelite so I thought that was neat.Also a great example of attention to detail that I appreciate about old things.

    Lovely buttons..
    I once bought a huge jar at a garage sale last summer.. thinking there would be some lovely old ones.. I think there was like 4 neat ones out of the whole pickle jar they had been kept in. lol

    Those rose buttons are quite lovely. I laughed when I read the post title. We use that line often around here. :D
