Windy Days and Weight Loss...

Yesterdays errand run ended up taking a lot longer than usual.Mostly because every few steps I'd end up having to run after my daughters hat that she insisted on wearing and putting it back on and I wore a nice white cotton eyelet dress that left me looking like I was badly impersonating Marilyn Monroe in the vent scene in "Seven Year Itch".Yes,sadly those Indiana winds made a fool of my daughter and I yesterday. We were more comical than stylish.

It was so windy that I didn't get a chance to get to snap any photos. In good/bad news I can no longer wear a vintage dress.Sad about the dress but happy because the reason I can't wear it anymore is it is now too big!So I put it in my Etsy shop. You can see even in this photo the wind was already starting to kick up as my hat tried to take off a few times.I'm happy to see my waist is only 4 inches away from being able to fit in my old clothes!Yeah progress!

The hat and dress were antique mall finds and the shoes I got on Etsy.I'll do an entry on them later because they're just that cute. The hat has a veil that I need to repair but for $4.00 I nearly died when I saw it!

  6. yeah sadly Im not one of those women that has a baby and bounce back. After birth my belly looks like its still 5 months pregnant and I have to slowly let it go down.Even now I still have that darn pooch that I'm trying to get rid of so I can have my waist back.I have 15 more pounds before I'm back to my pre-pregnancy self.
