Most vintage loving gals are use to the "too late" feeling.Feeling like you were born in the wrong era or when looking at old magazines and catalogs wishing you could go back and grab up all those pretty things.Don't you REALLY hate it though when you miss something modern though that had a lovely vintage feel by just a few years!?Ugh!
While I was searching for a pair of aqua shoes last night that I had seen a million times on Ebay when I WASN'T looking now that I was,I of course couldn't find them.I did find while doing a quick google search these beauties while looking a fashion blog from a few years ago.The site that sold them of course no longer does.I thought I would share my pain with you though.
Oh and my vegan followers will appreciate that they were vegan friendly too.Now I'm sure SOMEWHERE on the internet has them I hope but the original site they were linked to doesn't have them.Feel free to fall in love with both color combos on these delicious 40's inspired Mary Janes!
The double straps are super cute too!
ReplyDeleteOh these are lovely! If you do find the site can you post a link to it please? I haven't seen vegan shoes like this before.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Em :)
I lament that while I was born just after the 40s and 50s, I didn't have the money or way to collect all that ah-maze-ing 40s and 50s stuff that filled thrift shops for CHEAP back then grrr!!
ReplyDeleteCute shoes!!
Oh man, the aqua combo is gorgeous! It's just too bad :(
ReplyDeleteThose shoes MUST be mine!!
ReplyDeleteMissDilemma yes if I see a site that carries them I will let you guy know and please anyone else that might see them let US know!
ReplyDeleteThe original site was called plasticland.com and these shoes were called "Dolly".Maybe if we all contact them and request they carry them again they might?
Im loving those in the green simply gorg. Dee
ReplyDeleteThose are fantastically adorable!
ReplyDeleteThey are made by Wanted and the model is called "Dainty." Here they are:

looks like they don't sell them anymore on that site :(
I have a similar pair called "Scroll" that I got at Ross, but that was a couple of years ago.
Happy hunting- hope they will be lurking somewhere on the net for you!
hmm I wonder why the same shoe can be called different things by different companies?Regardless its still cute and yes hope one of us can find a place that still carries them!
ReplyDeleteOh so funny! These are the exact shoes I bought for my bridesmaids last year. I bought the light brown and gray version, from piperlime.com. Just went back to the website, they don't have them anymore. But the brand is "WANTED", the style is "Dainty". They fit my girls very well, VERY cute!
