It Pays To Be a Pack Rat Sometimes...

I fail at blogging lately.I've had a lot to write just *le sigh* no time to do it.As though sensing that things will change soon (12 days away from my due date as of today) my daughter and my dog have been at my heels non stop and even at night we're having issues with them giving me a little space.I have a hard enough time getting out of bed and oh I know it sounds bratty of me but its wretched when you wake up to pee every hour and you've woken up sandwiched between a dog and a toddler that has snuck into your bed yet again.I can't get out of the bed without waking them up and then I have this little crowd following me because apparently I can't do this simple task of emptying my bladder myself...it's hard to be loved sometimes!

While the hubby is home and the lil Miss is entertained my Finding Nemo (thank you Pixar I seriously freaking love you) let me show off these cute vintage boy jumpers I bought quite some time ago "just incase I ever had a boy",they were only a dollar too so it wasn't a great loss if that day didnt come but here it is only 12 days away!

this on is missing a button but I'm just going to replace all the buttons with some vintage red ones I've been had that I was saving for some sort of project:

30 Weeks!

Wow,it doesn't seem possible but here I am at 30 weeks!I am excited as we draw closer to the finish line but also in a state of panic as it makes me realize how unprepared I am (but like we're ever really ready, right?!).I had my glucose test this morning, yuck!I took the fruit punch horridness over the orange horridness I had opted for with Heidi....it was slightly less horrid but I couldn't wait to get home and get something in my belly!

Blame it on the going so long without eating but I scarfed down ALL of the left over spaghetti in the fridge so then it was carb overload.Needless to say today was not a good day for my poor tummy. It was mad at me for having to fast, then mad at me for having all that sugar in it and then mad cause I over ate.Luckily Heidi took her nap early and so I napped with her and felt a ton better after wards.

We all went to the store later and I finally got a watermelon which I have been craving forever. The hubby was reluctant to buy one because last summer the one we got was horrid but fortunately this one was fantastic.Nothing is better in Indiana's humid summer than some nice watermelon thats for sure.Speaking of watermelon it looks like I'm smuggling one under my shirt!I have so much belly and still 10 weeks to go!

98 Days to Go..

I am 26 weeks pregnant now.If Wayland should come on time I have 98 days to go!Hooray for getting under the 100 day mark!I had a doctors appointment today which was pretty routine.Heartbeat was good and even though I've gone for an hour walk everyday I still gained 6 pounds this month!Doh!Darn carbs I blame you for this *shakes fist at those delicious, delicious carbs*

I know every pregnancy is different but this time around I am having horrible back pain.I know boys you carry lower so maybe that's it?The extra weight on my belly my poor back is compensating for.I asked the doctor and he gave me a copy of some exercises I could do to help and even agreed that yes I've got a lot of belly to work with right now.My hubby thinks I'm carrying bigger than I was with Heidi too.All and all it's a small price to pay for bringing life into the world but at the same time it's not fun to wake up feeling like you're 85 years old when you're only 27.Aw well just 98 more days to go.

In other baby related news I keep finding these darling vintage lamb tiles!Too bad I didn't have these when Heidi was still a wee baby. She's still my baby but she's a toddler now too so I try not to get all carried away with things that in a year from now she'll be telling me is baby stuff and she doesn't want it in her room. And of course they're FAR too girly to use for Wayland so I put them up in my Etsy store if anyone is interested!

24 Weeks!

With Heidi it seemed I was pregnant forever.Perhaps because she's all I had to worry about and consumed every waking thought and my dreams. She keeps my quite busy now so this pregnancy with Wayland seems to be going by all too fast!I don't have that luxury of just sitting and thinking and waiting. So here I am at 24 weeks!I'm excited and of course nervous,I hate not having all my ducks in a row with something as huge as a second child coming into the world but life won't wait so I'm just going to try my best to keep my chin up about everything.

In other news My husband,Heidi and I attended our local tea party.I hope you guys went to yours!

Like Finding Buried Treasure....

Oh dear,I fear my husband may be correct when he tells me Im a pack rat!I was packing up some Ebay items for the night so Id have them ready for tomorrow when I make an overdue run to the post office when I saw shoved in the back corner of the bottom shelf of my red kitchen cart a plastic bag with a shaker and glasses Id forgotten all about! Now I had bought these many months ago at my favorite flea market for $5.00,not too shabby,8 juice glasses and 1 shaker all in mint condition.

I remembered storing them because there was no room for them in my "has the nerve to call itself a kitchen" kitchen, seriously its like 6 feet by 4 feet its maddening!Same reason I have my poor kitchen cart in the our walk in closet (which um,isnt much of a walk in) cause I cant fit it where it should go.Its a tight squeeze going from a 4 bedroom house (oh how I miss that kitchen!) to a tiny 2 bedroom apartment and no sir I dont like it.Hopefully we'll be out of here when our lease is up at the start of summer, hopefully.

Since these poor beauties had to be packed back up and stored away again till we get a bigger place I thought Id give them a little sunshine and show them off here.

Hmm... let's see in other news I am 20 weeks pregnant, hooray for the 1/2 way mark!So give or take a few days in another 20 weeks our son will be here!Oh and tomorrow night I get to go see Wayne the Train Hancock with my lovely friend Jess!Too bad I'll have to be cutting it short to be home in time for the hubby to go to work (ah the laments of having my fella work graveyard and having both grandmas all the way back in California, yep no insta-babysitters for us *boo and hiss*)But I figure a lil Wayne the Train is better than none.Besides I only get out like maybe once every few months so I am overdue for a girls night.
